During Refugee Week, a group of Abigail Housing residents, volunteers, directors and staff all took part in a fundraising challenge.
We all ‘virtually’ climbed Mount Erta Ale, a volcanic mountain in Ethiopia.
Our challenge symbolised the struggles refugees face to reach a place of safety and the challenges they face to build a new life when they arrive. This short film shows the range of activities participants took part in.
A big thank you to everyone that donated, we raised over £2000 for our Bradford project that works with destitute asylum seekers.
